Electronic Warfare Analyst

Valiant is seeking a dynamic and innovative Electromagnetic Warfare Planner to provide research, analysis, and planning support to the U.S. Pacific Command (US PACOM) Operations Directorate as part of the Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations Cell. Have the experience and knowledge to support Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO) that will ensure freedom of action and mission assurance in all domains throughout the Pacific. You will provide assistance to senior-level strategic planning and briefings, including preparing formal papers and background information for US PACOM senior leader consumption.

You'll also provide research and analysis of various pertinent national security policies, military strategies, vulnerability assessments, threat and intelligence assessments. This position will identify operational areas of concern, inform planning efforts, and help develop new concepts and identify new capabilities for Electromagnetic Warfare.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide assistance to senior-level strategic planning and briefings, including preparing formal papers and background information for US PACOM senior leader consumption. Provide research and analysis of various EW related national security policies, military strategies, and capability integration that support US PACOM operations and exercises.

Utilize experience and knowledge to support Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO) that will ensure freedom of action and mission assurance in all domains throughout the Indo-Pacific. Other duties as assigned. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT: Active TS/SCI EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: Bachelor's degree, in lieu of degree, at least 8 years of combined experience in Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) operations, capability development and/or policy.

Master's Degree and/or attendance at Service Command and General Staff College preferred. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: At least 3 years of experience at a Combatant Command, Service Component or equivalent HQ. At least 3 years of experience in the Indo-Pacific Area of Operations. Familiar with PACOM Theater Campaign Plan (TCP), Deliberate and Crisis Action Plans, and Operations Plans (OPLANS).

Experience in writing reports, graphics and information papers. Experience analyzing operational data. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Minimum 1 year of experience working with AI or Language Model (LM) tools in system administration, operational planning, or data analysis context.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience coordinating with other Department of Defense (DoD) entities, including the Joint Staff, the Office of the Secretary of Defense and PACOM's Service Components as well as non-DoD organizations such as DHS and State Department. Graduate of Joint Electronic Warfare Theater Operations Course .

Familiar with JEMSO applications and databases (FADE/MIST, CED, etc.) PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Physical requirements may include, but are not limited to, lifting, ascending, and descending stairs, climbing, extended sitting or standing, to various degrees.
