Teacher (Long-term Substitute)-Middle School Art

Description: Prospect Heights School District 23 has an opening for a Long-term Substitute Art Teacher at Mac. Arthur Middle School starting early November, 2026 through mid-February, 2027. The pay rate is $143/day for the first 21 consecutive days of employment and $239/day after 21 days. No other benefits available (benefits information available here ).

Qualifications

Preferred candidates will have a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Middle School Art Endorsement or a SUB license Application Procedure: Must complete the online application and upload the following items: Letter of Introduction Current Resume Faith's Law: Effective July 1, 2023, districts are required to conduct an Employee History Review (EHR) of prior employers to determine if they have been the subject of a sexual misconduct allegation, been discharged, been asked to resign, or were disciplined due to an adjudication or finding of sexual misconduct.
