Pharmacy Technician II - Pharmacy - Variable - FT - Biloxi Location

Job Summary

Assists the pharmacist to provide prescribed pharmaceuticals for a designated patient population. Provides technical support and other activities for the Pharmacy department as delegated by a pharmacist. Required Qualifications: Education : High School diploma or GED Licensure : Valid Mississippi driver's license. Registered Pharmacy Technician in the state of MS.

Must be certified as a CPHT by successful completion of the PTCB or Ex. Cpt exam. Experience : None Skills, Knowledge, Abilities : Ability to learn medical abbreviations, drug strengths, IV solutions, drug generic and brand names, and basic pharmacy operations, including computer systems. Must be able to operate a motor vehicle Preferred Qualifications: Education: N/A Licensure: N/A Experience: One year of experience as a Certified Pharmacy Technician.
