German Teacher/HOD AY26-27

Westview International Language School is seeking a qualified and experienced German Teacher/Head of Department (HOD) for the academic year 26-27. This leadership role involves overseeing the German language department, ensuring the highest standards of teaching and curriculum development, and guiding a team of teachers to achieve academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the German language department, including curriculum planning, implementation, and evaluation. Teach German language classes, fostering a stimulating and supportive learning environment for students. Support and mentor teaching staff within the department to enhance instructional quality and professional growth.

Develop and implement strategies to improve student engagement and academic performance in German language studies. Coordinate departmental meetings, liaise with school management, and contribute to school-wide initiatives. Stay up-to-date with curriculum changes, educational trends, and best practices in language teaching.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher in German Language, Education, or a related field. Proven experience in teaching German and in a leadership role, preferably as a Head of Department. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to motivate and inspire both students and staff. Familiarity with curriculum development and assessment techniques.

Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
