Business Excellence Analyst AT/CH

Role Purpose The Business Analytics & Insights analyst is responsible for monitoring in‑market performance, generating actionable insights, delivering accurate category forecasts, and supporting the business with data‑driven decision‑making for Austria & Switzerland. The role also partners with the Zone Performance Analytics Head to provide country‑level insights and performance analysis.

Key Responsibilities

1. Market & Business Performance Tracking Support in monitoring company in‑market performance (sales, share, distribution, pricing, competitive activity). Build and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and KPI trackers. Identify performance risks, opportunities, and early warning signals.
2. Category Forecasting & Planning Support monthly and quarterly category forecasting, including volume, value, and share. Collaborate with supply, finance, brand and commercial teams to ensure forecast accuracy.
3. Business Insights & Decision Support Translate data into clear, actionable insights for commercial strategy, brand plans, and business cases. Support commercial teams with performance deep‑dives, pricing analysis, promotional effectiveness, and customer insights. Prepare insight‑driven recommendations for leadership review.
4. Zone & Cross‑Market Insight Alignment Align on performance diagnosis, insights, and standard methodologies across markets. Consolidate country‑level inputs for regional and global reviews.
5. Tools, Data & Process Excellence Ensure data quality, timely reporting, and consistency across systems. Drive simplification and automation of reporting processes. Champion data‑driven culture within the commercial organization. Key Skills & Qualifications Two- Three years of experience with performance reporting, forecasting, and business analytics. Ability to translate complex data into simple insights. Proficiency in Excel, Power BI/power query, and data management tools. Strong analytical and communication skills.
