Student Clinical Rotation

Apply for a Clinical Rotation at Primary Health Care Primary Health Care is a Federally Qualified Health Center, which means our patients come to us from every direction and every circumstance. Students who rotate here see real community health: complex cases, team-based care, and the kind of visits that stay with you.

We accept Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner, Dentist, and Social Work students. Before you apply, a few things to know: Your school needs an active affiliation agreement with PHC. If you're not sure whether one exists, ask your faculty advisor/program director before you apply. You will need to complete our onboarding & compliance requirements before your first day.

We ask that you apply at least 60 days before your desired rotation start date. Placement is subject to preceptor availability, which is limited, so we can't guarantee a spot but will review your needs and support them if we are able! What happens after you apply: We'll confirm your school's agreement and your requested dates, and work to match you with a preceptor.
