Speech Therapist - Pediatric

Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center (PVHMC) Rehabilitation Services is seeking a full-time Pediatric Speech and Language Pathologists to join our large multi-disciplinary team of pediatric SLPs, OTs and PTs and Assistants. Our two freestanding state-of-the-art pediatric clinics are located in Claremont and Chino Hills, CA.

Known as the Milestones Center for Child Development, these practices serve children from birth to adolescence. Required: California State Speech Therapy License or letter that provides proof that associate is a Speech Pathologist License Applicant (SPLA). Master#s degree in Communication Disorders. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) or has filed an approved plan for the Required Professional Experience(RPE).

BLS. Advanced clinical training experience and continuing education in specialty area.# # Essential functions include: Provide accurate diagnosis, referrals, and follow-up treatment for all patients Determine appropriate assessment and/or intervention objectives Plan and implement appropriate treatment plan for patients, including family education and home-based interventions Complete all documentation within the time frames specified.

Rehabilitation includes 5 Services: Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Pathology, Cardiac Rehabilitation and Pulmonary Rehabilitation.
