• Friday Days No Call ACR Breast Imaging Center of Excellence Free employee parking 401k eligible We are an excellent place to work and receive healthcare Overview Job Summary for General Ultrasound The Registered Diagnostic Sonographer I performs ultrasound procedures, including but not limited to abdominal, small parts, and obstetrical, to adult and pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders, and assist with needle procedures (i.e., biopsies, drainages, needle placements, etc.). May also perform vascular procedures.

Job Responsibilities

for General Ultrasound Performs ultrasound imaging examinations. Performs studies independently in the Operating Room and or portable exams as required by the work area. Maintains equipment and supplies. Ensures proper documentation of procedures. Collaborates with Radiologist and medical staff for diagnosis. Performs Other Responsibilities as Assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED Experience: 2-6 Years Supervisor Experience: None Required License/Certifications: 2 Credentials or 3 Applicable Certifications BLS required within first 30 day of employment Preferred Qualifications Degree: Associate Degree – Sonography Work Shift PRN (United States of America) Legal Statement The above information on this description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees in this position.
