Key Responsibilities

Lead and organise the day to day operation of the retail floor and team Maintain high standards of merchandising and presentation, with strong attention to detail Manage product mix to provide the best range for customers Oversee the sale of liquor and tobacco Maintain Health & Safety and Food Safety standards Manage stock levels based on trade patterns Perform overall store duty management as rostered About You

• The Successful Applicant Will Have At least 2 years' experience in a supermarket A Manager's Certificate (liquor licence) or ability to obtain one Strong customer service skills Good time management and communication skills Confident in leading and supporting a team Sound problem solving and decision making ability Experience with SAP or similar systems A quick learner with a positive attitude A Forklift Licence or willingness to obtain one Experience working in a fresh food department What's in It for You A supportive, collaborative team environment Great development opportunities On the job training Staff discount at New World Wanaka A 100% locally owned and operated store Pay rate range for these positions are $28.00 - $32.00 per hour.
