About the role

Ground Water Treatment and Technology is hiring an Assistant Project Manager to help deliver Construction dewatering projects on time, on budget. You will report to branch manager and support projects such as but not limited to temporary treatment system, media changes outs, and maintenance on equipment. You will work directly with branch manager to learn all aspects of the job.

This is a hands-on role for someone early in their project management career who wants to grow into leading projects independently.

Key responsibilities

You will keep projects organized and moving, so the Project Manager can focus on strategy and client relationships. Build and maintain schedules for construction phasing. Coordinate daily work among design engineers, contractors, clients, and vendors. Track budgets, purchase orders, and invoices, Prepare agendas and take minutes for progress meetings and follow up on action items.

Monitor progress on site and flag risks, delays, or scope changes early. Support procurement of equipment such as pumps, blowers, valves, and controls, tracking lead times and deliveries. Help enforce site safety. Support startup, testing, commissioning, O&M manual handover, and project closeout. Lead smaller projects independently as you gain experience.

Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering, construction management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. 1 years of experience in project coordination, project engineering, or construction administration Working knowledge of construction documents: drawings, specifications, submittals, and change orders.

Basic understanding of scheduling, budgeting, and scope control. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Valid driver's license and ability to travel job sites. Salary Range: $50,000-80,000, depending on experience.
