JOB OVERVIEW The Spa Operations Attendant is responsible for maintaining the exceptional cleanliness, organization, readiness, and presentation of Tierra Santa Healing House. Working primarily in an operational support capacity, this position ensures that spa facilities, guest areas, linens, supplies, amenities, and support spaces are consistently maintained in accordance with Faena standards and established luxury and Forbes service expectations.

The Spa Operations Attendant plays an essential role in the guest experience by ensuring that the environment remains beautiful, orderly, fully stocked, safe, and prepared throughout the day. This position works closely with Spa Guest Experience Attendants and Spa leadership to proactively identify operational needs and maintain seamless spa operations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain exceptional cleanliness, organization, readiness, and presentation throughout assigned areas of Tierra Santa Healing House. Continuously monitor and maintain the wet spa and thermal areas, relaxation lounge, spa terrace, spa living room, fitness center, locker areas, restrooms, showers, and other designated spaces.

Ensure floors, surfaces, fixtures, furnishings, showers, restrooms, and guest areas remain clean, orderly, dry, safe, and appropriately presented. Identify and promptly address areas requiring attention throughout the shift rather than relying solely on scheduled cleaning intervals. Maintain a strong awareness of the overall appearance of the Spa and immediately correct presentation deficiencies within the scope of the position.

Report maintenance, repair, safety, or facility concerns promptly to Spa leadership and/or the appropriate department. Maintain appropriate levels of clean towels, robes, slippers, linens, amenities, toiletries, and other guest supplies throughout the Spa. Collect, transport, organize, fold, stock, and replenish linens as necessary to support uninterrupted operations.

Monitor linen usage and communicate shortages or unusual volume to Spa leadership. Manage designated linen bins and ensure soiled linens are appropriately collected and transported. Maintain organized storage, supply, and operational areas in accordance with established standards. Monitor guest amenities and operational supplies and proactively replenish items before they become depleted.

Support inventory organization and advise leadership of low-stock items or unusual usage patterns. Conduct regular rounds of assigned spa areas to identify cleanliness, replenishment, presentation, safety, and operational needs. Assist with receiving, transporting, and distributing Spa packages, supplies, and deliveries.

Support opening and closing procedures and ensure assigned areas are properly prepared for the beginning and conclusion of operations. Assist with setup and breakdown associated with Spa programming, wellness activities, events, or other operational needs as assigned. Coordinate with Spa Guest Experience Attendants to respond quickly to guest-area replenishment, cleanliness, and presentation needs.

Warmly acknowledge guests encountered throughout the Spa and offer appropriate assistance while maintaining a calm and discreet presence. Respond appropriately to basic guest requests and promptly connect guests with a Spa Guest Experience Attendant, Reception team member, or leader when additional assistance is required.

Perform operational responsibilities with minimal disruption to the guest experience and remain mindful of noise levels, guest privacy, and the tranquil nature of the Spa environment. Maintain consistent communication with Spa Guest Experience Attendants, Spa Reception, leadership, and other team members regarding operational needs.

Participate in pre-shift meetings and required training and remain informed regarding relevant daily operations, safety procedures, Faena culture, and applicable service standards. Follow all Company policies, departmental procedures, cleaning and sanitation standards, safety requirements, and rules of conduct. Immediately communicate significant guest, employee, safety, security, maintenance, or operational concerns to the appropriate member of management.

Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Previous experience in a luxury hotel, spa, wellness facility, housekeeping, locker room, fitness facility, or similar environment preferred. Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, presentation, safety, and detail. Ability to independently recognize operational needs and take appropriate action without requiring continuous direction.

Ability to follow established cleaning, sanitation, safety, linen, and operational procedures. Ability to work efficiently while maintaining a calm and discreet presence in guest-facing environments. Ability to communicate effectively with team members and appropriately assist guests encountered during the performance of duties.

Dependable, organized, and able to manage multiple operational priorities throughout a shift. Ability to collaborate effectively with Spa colleagues and other hotel departments. Ability to exercise sound judgment and appropriately escalate guest, safety, maintenance, or operational concerns. Flexible availability to work varying schedules, including weekends, holidays, and evenings, based on business needs.

PHYSICAL ABILITIES The physical requirements of this position include the ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the working day; frequently bend, kneel, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive physical activities associated with maintaining spa facilities; and safely navigate wet surfaces and varying temperatures.

The position may require lifting, carrying, transporting, and organizing linens, supplies, amenities, packages, and other items; and pushing or maneuvering linen bins, carts, and operational supplies. The team member must be able to perform the physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Because Tierra Santa Healing House operates based on guest and business needs, regular availability to work weekends, holidays, evenings, and other shifts as scheduled is required. ADDITIONAL EXPECTATIONS The Spa Operations Attendant is expected to consistently represent Faena through professional appearance, conduct, communication, discretion, and operational excellence.
