Redefine Healthcare is looking for a dedicated, full time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our expanding team of healthcare professionals in our Paterson Office . The Physical Therapy Assistant will be responsible for working under the supervision of licensed Physical Therapists to implement patient treatment plans, assist with therapeutic interventions, and support patient rehabilitation goals.

Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant Salary/Pay Rate: $36-40/ hour, depending on specialty and experience Hours: 40 hours per week Job Type : Full-time Benefits: Paid time off, sick time, health insurance (medical, dental, vision, accident, and critical illness), life insurance, 401(k) with Company match, yearly bonus Job Title Duties (not limited to): Implement patient treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist.

Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, functional activities, and mobility training. Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions. Provide patient education on exercises and techniques to support recovery at home. Ensure treatment areas and equipment are prepared, clean, and safe. Communicate patient needs and progress with supervising Physical Therapist and healthcare team.

Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. Participate in ad hoc projects to support departmental and organizational goals. Maintain Licensure or Certification: Current CPR/BLS certification required. Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant. Minimum Level of Education or Experience Required: Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program required.

Experience in outpatient, inpatient, or rehabilitation settings preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to follow treatment plans and instructions accurately. Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques, medical terminology, and patient safety practices.
