Kitchen Assistant

The Capital District YMCA is seeking a Part-time Kitchen Assistant. Under the direction and supervision of the Residence Food Service Supervisor this position assists in all aspects of the meal program at the Schenectady Men's Residence.

REQUIREMENTS

MUST be 18 years of age or older. The ability and willingness to follow directions. Proficiency in using kitchen appliances and equipment. Cooking experience in a quantity food service capacity including catering and banquet preparation, or enrollment or newly graduated from a culinary arts program is preferred. A current ServSafe certification is preferred.

Scheduled Shifts by Location: Men's Residence: Mon

• Fri, 1:00pm - 6:00pm This is a part-time position with starting salary of $16.00 per hour.
