Registered Nurse

Come join our amazing team! Part Time Current hours average between 30-35 hours biweekly. Surgery center is open 2 days a week currently. We are looking for a qualified registered nurse for our Ambulatory Surgery Center for part-time work. You will work with a variety of pain management patients and provide direct nursing care.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Rendering of professional care to our patients, making every effort to remain a flexible, cooperative and supportive member of our clinical team.
• Acting as a liaison between the physician and the patient and patient’s family or support person(s).
• Maintaining the role of patient advocate.
• Must have excellent IV start skills
• Dealing compassionately, professionally, and courteously with patients, their families, physicians, and fellow staff.

REQUIREMENTS

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensing: Possess an active Maryland Registered Nurse License.
• Current BLS certification.
• Participation in continuing education Clinical expertise in ambulatory surgery center nursing preferred.
