Transport Orderly

Position Summary

The transport orderly will provide transport and delivery services within the hospital departments using wheelchairs, gurneys, and other appropriate equipment. Transports patients with IVACS, O ₂ , chest tubes, etc. Utilizes basic knowledge of body mechanics, transfer techniques, asepsis, and CPR. Per Diem Position, Varied Shifts including Weekends and Holidays.

Qualifications

Prefer High School graduate or equivalent, with some college level education including Office Technology course. Prefer Patient Care or Healthcare Background or previous transport orderly experience, with Clerical, Computer / Software knowledge. Must possess proven positive oral and written communication skills as well as positive guest relations skills.

Require Current American Heart Association BCLS certificate.
