Property Management Compliance Specialist

Red Oak Management Co., Inc.is looking for afull-time Property Management Compliance Specialist to join our corporate office in Cedar Springs, MI. THE WORK THAT KEEPS OUR COMMUNITIES STRONG

As our Property Management Compliance Specialist, you will become a key connection between property operations, compliance, and financial administration throughout our portfolio. You will enter and monitor rent checks, voucher payments, and security deposit activity for more than 600 units while helping ensure resident information remains accurate and up to date within our management software. You'll collaborate closely with Compliance and Accounts Receivable leadership on move-ins and move-outs, contribute to discussions regarding legal notices and court proceedings, and help maintain the standards that keep our communities compliant and operating efficiently. Your expertise will help ensure that important details are handled properly so our on-site teams and residents can continue to thrive.

What You'll Need:

• 5+ years in property management (on site or within a corporate office environment

• Previous experience with accounts receivable in housing and/or affordable housing compliance

• Fair housing training and/or certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in on-site property management within affordable housing

• Understanding of laws and best practices regarding legal proceedings in housing within the State of Michigan

• Ability to work on site 5 days per week

You'll earn $60,000-$80,000 annually, depending on your experience and qualifications.
