JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: Y-MD-3351924 Profession: Physician Specialty: Primary Care Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Richmond, VA Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: Nov 02, 2026 – Feb 22, 2027 Clinical Shift Schedule: Mon – Fri, 8a – 5p (extended to 7p on Mon/Tue) PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Volume/Census: 25 (MD) / 20 (APPs) patients daily JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active Virginia license, DEA Board: BC/BE in Family Practice or Internal Medicine DEA: Current DEA registration required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Experience: Completion of accredited family practice residency DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Performs physical examinations of new and existing patients and determines x-ray examinations and clinical laboratory tests required.

Interprets examination findings, test results, and implements treatment plans. Provides continuing, comprehensive health maintenance and medical care to the entire family unit, including preventive medicine, behavioral sciences, and community health. Participates in surgical, obstetrical, gynecological, and critical care procedures according to training and demonstrated ability.

Instructs other healthcare providers and non-medical personnel in health-related topics, including first-aid measures, basic and advanced cardiac life support, and healthcare maintenance.
