Job Summary

The job of “Paraprofessional – Special Education” is done for the purpose/s of assisting (under direct supervision) in the supervision and instruction of students enrolled in a special education curriculum, and assisting teachers with clerical duties.

Requirements

• Appropriate policies, procedures, practices, laws, codes, etc.
• Basic instructional/office equipment and materials
• English in both written and verbal form
• Intervention techniques for emergency situations
• Problem solving techniques
• Rules of grammar, punctuation and spelling
• Basis technology skills desired.
