Position Overview:

We are seeking a dependable, customer-focused Produce Associate to join our team. This role is responsible for receiving, stocking, merchandising, and maintaining fresh produce products while providing excellent customer service and ensuring product quality. This position plays an important role in supporting the success of our Produce Department by maintaining attractive displays, fresh products, and delivering an exceptional experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, unload, and organize fresh produce deliveries.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise fruits and vegetables according to company standards.
• Maintain fresh, attractive, and well-organized produce displays.
• Inspect products for quality, freshness, and proper rotation.
• Assist customers by providing friendly service and answering product-related questions.
• Maintain proper food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards throughout the department.
• Support daily department operations, including replenishment and organization of inventory.
• Work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in produce, grocery, retail, food service, or customer service preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift, move, and organize products in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and support team members.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be available for early morning shifts beginning at 5:00 AM, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to work in a multi-temperature environment, including refrigerated areas.
