As part of the HALO team, you’ll be surrounded by passionate people who are invested in helping you learn, grow, and make a meaningful contribution—while gaining real-world experience you can carry into your career. The Marketing Intern will report to the HALO Senior Operations Manager and Operations Director and will support all marketing efforts for HALO headquarters and HALO branches. This Intern will help develop HALO collateral, brochures, sales materials, brand development, Website updates, PowerPoint presentations, social media posts, video production, e-marketing, event planning, and strategic planning. This internship can be fully in-person or hybrid (at least one day in the office). The intern’s responsibilities may include: Creating and scheduling social media content and campaigns for multiple platforms Building blog posts, updating webpages, and other website content Ensuring the integrity of HALO and HALO youth in marketing materials Analyzing and strategizing based on content performance Creating marketing materials to share with stakeholders, such as an Annual Report Gathering content at HALO programs, both pictures and videos (schedule permitting) Researching current trends and implementing them on HALO social media platforms Managing Linktr.ee and keeping track of web links being shared Organizing marketing materials for internal & external use Creating monthly email campaigns for donors, volunteers, or general audience Creating other marketing materials, such as flyers and Power. Points Supporting Google Ads and Google Events Qualifications: Candidates for this Internship must exhibit strong organizational and communication skills. They must also work well in a team atmosphere, be highly motivated, enjoy brainstorming, and take initiative on all projects. Must be efficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint. Knowledge of WordPress and Canva is a plus. Training provided on all other programs. Please note this is an unpaid internship; however, this is an excellent opportunity to gain a variety of experience in the nonprofit sector.
