Contract Customer Service Representative

JOB TITLE: CONTRACT CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE DEPARTMENT: MASS TORT REPORTS TO: BONNIE RICKERT, PARTNER FLSA STATUS: CONTRACT: FULL-TIME, 4 WEEKS ROLE SUMMARY Hilliard Law’s mission for our clients is clear - the “Relentless Pursuit of Justice.” We strive to find talent that pursues excellence for our clients. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Communicate regularly with clients, medical providers, court personnel, and opposing counsel via phone and email. Provide heavy phone support with strong, professional communication and customer service skills. Maintain customer privacy and data security. Assist with case action planning to ensure compliance with federal and state court deadlines.

Utilize case management software to manage matters and review dashboards and reports to understand docket status at both macro and micro levels. Maintain accurate records and ensure strict adherence to firm policies and procedures. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ATTRIBUTES: Significant customer service experience Typing - 40+ wpm Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment Extremely organized Quick learner/intuitive Ethically responsible with an understanding of the legal and ethical obligations of the profession Capable of adhering to firm policies and procedures PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: High School Graduate/ GED Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with an ability to become familiar with firm-specific programs and software.
