About the role

The ideal candidate will have a background in civil litigation, strong legal research and writing skills, and an interest in developing their litigation practice. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of civil litigation matters while collaborating with experienced attorneys in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

What you'll do

Handle civil litigation matters through various stages of litigation, with responsibilities commensurate with experience. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, responses, and other legal documents. Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda addressing complex legal issues. Participate in all aspects of discovery, including document review, written discovery, and depositions.

Attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and other court proceedings. Assist in developing litigation strategies and evaluating case resolution options. Collaborate with partners, associates, and legal support staff to ensure effective case management. Assist with trial preparation and participate in trials as needed.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school. Active license and good standing with the State Bar of Nevada . 1–7 years of civil litigation experience. Experience with legal research, drafting pleadings, discovery, and motion practice. Deposition and courtroom experience preferred but not required. Strong analytical, research, writing, and communication skills.

Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
