About the role

We are looking for a Data & Analytics Manager to help shape our enterprise data strategy and architecture from the ground up, creating the foundations for improved reporting, analytics, automation and data-driven decision-making. You will have significant influence over how data is structured, governed and consumed, while working closely with teams across the business to turn enterprise data into a trusted and valuable organizational asset.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, develop and support the Data & Analytics team, setting priorities, allocating work and building the technical capabilities required to deliver the organization’s data strategy. Lead the design, development and deployment of the enterprise data warehouse and data platform, including scalable data models optimized for analytics and reporting.

Build and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines to integrate data from SAP and other business systems across the organization. Establish strong data quality, governance and security controls to ensure enterprise data is accurate, trusted and appropriately protected. Work closely with business stakeholders, analysts and Application Owners to translate business needs into technical solutions and understand source-system structures, APIs and dependencies.

Monitor and optimize data pipelines and platform performance, while maintaining clear documentation of data models, definitions and transformation logic to support self-service analytics.

Requirements

Minimum 7 years of professional experience, ideally within a manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment. Previous experience leading or managing a data, analytics or engineering team, with the ability to coach team members and coordinate delivery across multiple initiatives. Strong experience in data engineering, data warehousing or data platform development.

Experience designing and implementing ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration solutions. Good understanding of dimensional modelling, relational databases and modern data architecture principles. Strong SQL skills and practical experience working with enterprise data. Experience with modern cloud data platforms, preferably within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.

Experience with data visualization and analytics platforms such as Power BI, with a good understanding of downstream reporting and analytical requirements An understanding of data governance, data quality, security and access-control principles. The ability to translate business requirements into practical and maintainable technical solutions.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience working in the pharmaceutical, life sciences or another regulated GxP environment would be a significant advantage. Experience working with SAP data, including an understanding of SAP data structures and integration approaches is highly desirable.
