Summary As a Resident Mentor, you are more than a supervisor, you are a pillar of our recovery community. We are looking for mission-driven individuals who are deeply passionate about the Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and Mental Health (MH) field. Whether you are driven by a personal journey (lived experience), a professional calling, or a desire to give back, your primary role is to model a healthy, sober lifestyle while maintaining a safe and accountable environment. You will work as a vital link between the residents and our clinical team, ensuring that the house culture remains therapeutic and supportive. Shift Availability We are looking for reliable team members to fill the following shift First Shift: 8am-4:30pm Available Schedule Options Thursday-Monday Saturday-Wednesday Key Responsibilities Recovery Mentorship & Empowerment: Provide direct guidance by modeling healthy boundaries and effective communication. Use your passion or lived experience to help residents navigate the 12-step model, encouraging them to solve problems through peer support and self-help concepts. Crisis Intervention & Resolution: Act as the primary point of contact for house conflicts. Utilize proactive de-escalation techniques and thoughtful decision-making to manage high-stress situations, ensuring a calm, therapeutic environment during swing and overnight shifts. Safety, Accountability & Compliance: Maintain a substance-free facility through regular room checks, facility walkthroughs, and drug/alcohol screenings. Uphold program integrity by enforcing house rules fairly and maintaining strict HIPAA confidentiality. Operational Excellence & Coordination: Facilitate resident orientations, admissions, and discharges. Accompany residents to appointments and community meetings, while ensuring all behavioral observations and incidents are documented with clinical professionalism.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). Safety: Must pass all mandatory pre-employment screenings, including background checks and health screenings.
