Service Business Development Manager Role Overview The role of the Service Business Development Manager is to develop a business plan and service sales strategy that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability, focusing on the development of Ireland-based organisations to standardise on company services, locally in Ireland, along with opportunities that may arise within the EMEA region.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop a business plan and new business service sales strategy that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability
- Focus on the development of CSP (customer service plan) sales for Ireland-based organisations
- Generate new service sales opportunities in Ireland
- Provide proposals and estimates that ensure professionalism and accuracy of sales
- Provide monthly and annual sales forecasts to your Line Manager
- Work with product partners to develop and maintain localised relationships to maximise product benefits for the company and its customers
- Support the business in sales presentations, proposals and pricing
- Collaborate with the company Departmental Management team to ensure optimal end-to-end delivery of company products and services
- Support other Ireland-based Account Executives when requested with service tenders & potential renewals
- Achieve annual Ireland personal bookings target Secondary responsibilities:
- Manage pre-qualification submissions
- Manage tender submissions
- Networking within the Security sector to increase brand awareness
- Assisting the Small Work Estimator team when required for small work proposals Skills Required
- Negotiating skills
- Bid writing experience
- Computer literate
- Highly energetic, driven, self-motivated and results-oriented
- Strong team player and communicator with an ability to work under pressure in a structured environment
- Conversant with products / systems and solutions provided by the company relevant to your vertical markets and their value propositions
- Strong verbal / written communication and outstanding presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to influence others
- Ability to work independently
- Strong analytical skills necessary to resolve problems and look for solutions
- Strong financial and analytical skills
- Strong ability to facilitate a collaborative working environment for customers and team members Education Requirements
- Engineering or related field or equivalent certifications Experience Requirements
- Previous experience within the Security industry preferred, but not essential
- Minimum of two years of experience selling into end user accounts
- Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals Certifications & Licences
- Industry-specific certifications a plus
- Must have valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record
