Account & Project Manager (Contract)

Account & Project Manager Contract Someoddpilot is an award-winning, brand-led creative agency in Chicago. We’re looking for experienced Account + Project Managers to join us and help lead the day-to-day management of active client work. T he contracts are for 20-40 hours a week, depending on the client / projects assigned.

The role You’ll sit at the center of clients and our internal teams – keeping projects moving, communication clear, and everyone aligned on what needs to happen next. This is a client-facing role for someone who can bring structure to the work without adding unnecessary process. What you’ll do Own projects from kickoff through delivery, managing timelines, scope, budgets, and next steps Serve as a trusted day-to-day contact for clients Run meetings, status calls, and internal check-ins Translate client feedback into clear direction for strategy, creative, design, and production teams Vet work before it goes out, making sure deliverables are complete, accurate, on brief, and ready for client review Keep account leadership informed on project health, timing, and potential issues Anticipate roadblocks and raise flags early Help ensure the work stays focused, on brief, and moving toward a strong creative outcome What you bring 4+ years of agency experience in project management or account management Experience managing consumer brand, campaign, or integrated creative work Strong client communication and relationship skills A solid understanding of scopes, budgets, timelines, and creative workflows The ability to manage multiple priorities without losing sight of the details Good judgment, good taste, curiosity, and the confidence to keep both clients and teams moving
