Supervisor, Production Management

This role is part of Alcon's Manufacturing function, a team that designs, produces and delivers innovative eyecare products to more than 140 countries through operational excellence and efficiency. The Supervisor, Production Management (Management Path), is primarily responsible for leading team members to ensure efficient task completion and adherence to processes.

You will manage production activities, liaise with departments to develop schedules, and drive continuous improvement. This new Shift Head (Supervisor) will support production setting, preparation, managing production team. Specifics Include:

• Oversee team members to ensure efficient task completion and adherence to processes
• Manage production activities, including assembly, material forming/shaping, processing, treating, or packaging
• Liaise with Manufacturing Engineering, Supply & Logistics, Sales, and other departments to develop production schedules and allocate resources
• Plan, prioritize, and manage production line maintenance and downtime to minimize disruptions
• Lead or participate in quality investigations and deliver continuous improvement
• Assure a safe work environment, develop pipeline talent, and foster a culture of excellence by leading performance management and driving talent development
• Ensure positive associate relations, enhance engagement, recognize achievements, and drive a strong safety culture
• Make day-to-day decisions affecting team members and impacting daily operations and efficiency
• Ensure all associates adhere to Good Manufacturing Practice (GxP) regulations, follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintain documentation, and complete required training
• Meet individual job requirements and contribute to overall compliance and continuous improvement. All associates must adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate and complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control, and completing all required training. Associates are responsible for meeting their individual job requirements and contributing to the overall compliance of the organization. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma 4 (Preferably in Engineering)
• Good at spoken and written English
