Paramedic (Part-Time)

POSITION:  Part-Time Paramedic DEPARTMENT:  Emergency Medical Services GRADE:  B23 SUPERVISOR:  Emergency Medical Services Director CLASSIFICATION:  Regular position utilizing a rotating schedule that consists of a variety of 24-hour and 12-hour shifts. Includes some scheduled call shifts, weekends/nights/holidays. FLSA non-exempt.

AUTHORITY:  Hired by the recommendation of the Emergency Medical Services Director with County Board of Commissioners approval. Position is subject to a six-month probationary period, criminal background check, driving record check, and pre-employment physical. LEGISLATIVE REQUIREMENTS:  Must maintain current MN EMT Paramedic certification.
