Integrator / General Manager

Integrator/ General Manager Role Description Kalamazoo Mechanical, Inc. is seeking a high caliber Integrator/General Manager to run the day-to-day operations of the business. Position Summary

The Integrator is the company's operational leader, responsible for turning the Visionary's ideas into results. This role aligns departments, drives accountability, solves cross-functional issues, and ensures the company consistently achieves its goals. The Integrator leads the day-to-day business so the Visionary can focus on strategy, growth, key relationships, and future opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the leadership team. Weekly, quarterly, annual team meeting cadence. Ensure accountability for personal goals, company goals, and scorecards. Resolve issues that impact multiple departments. Drives a culture around our core values of Team, Credibility, Honesty, Passion, Fun, Safety. Operational Leadership Oversee the departmental directors.

Such as service, construction, finance, sales, facilities, IT, and HR. Directly lead and manage HR department. Step in and directly manage departments that have gaps or holes. Ensure processes are followed consistently and efficiently. Develop new processes as needed. Improve productivity, customer experience, and profitability.

Financial Performance Manage results against budget and financial targets. Monitor revenue, gross margin, net profit, cash flow, and labor efficiency. Drive operational decisions that improve profitability. Team Development Coach and develop department leaders. Provide and implement trainings. Ensure the right people are in the right seats.

Includes all staffing decisions. Build leadership capacity and succession plans.

Qualifications

10+ years experience managing, leading, reviewing subordinates. 3+ years of general management experience for an HVAC, construction or home services, company. Includes leading a leadership team. Strong financial and operational acumen. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and accountability skills. Bachelors degree.
