Center, vSAN, Server Hardware, Automation Job Summary We are looking for an experienced VMware Administrator/Engineer with strong hands-on experience in VMware virtualization technologies and enterprise server hardware. The candidate should have experience managing VMware environments, troubleshooting infrastructure issues, and supporting physical server platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, administer, and troubleshoot VMware ESXi environments. Manage VMware infrastructure using v. Center Server . Manage and support VMware vSAN environments. Perform VM provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Troubleshoot virtualization, host, storage, and hardware-related issues.

Perform VMware environment health checks and support infrastructure maintenance activities. Work with enterprise server hardware from Dell, HPE/HP, H3C, IBM, and Lenovo . Hands-on experience with blade chassis/server infrastructure . Support hardware troubleshooting, replacement, upgrades, and related infrastructure activities.

Coordinate with infrastructure, storage, network, and hardware teams for issue resolution. Automation experience using tools or scripting such as PowerCLI, Power. Shell, Python, or Ansible would be an added advantage. Mandatory Skills Strong hands-on experience with VMware ESXi Strong knowledge of VMware v. Center Experience with VMware vSAN Hands-on enterprise server hardware experience Experience with Dell, HPE/HP, H3C, IBM, Lenovo, or blade chassis Good to Have VMware infrastructure automation experience PowerCLI / Power.

Shell / Python / Ansible Experience troubleshooting complex virtualization and hardware issues Knowledge of virtualization infrastructure monitoring and performance optimization ͏ Areas of responsibility Triaging and resolution of tickets-"Perform initial triage for high priority incident tickets (P2 tickets) which may have an impact across one or more processes and resolve priority incident (P3) tickets within defined SLAs.

Create log of incidents and Document observations and related root causes, to support in evaluation of mitigation measures. " Resolution of service Requests-Fulfil software/hardware/network service requests within agreed timeline, ensuring timely completion and adherence to SLAs while maintaining quality and accuracy in request handling.

SLA Monitoring-Monitor SLA timelines for entire lifecycle of high priority incident tickets (P2 tickets). Escalate as needed and participate in weekly or monthly service review meetings with clients and internal teams. Change request execution-"Create change requests as per the priority of the incident tickets in adherence with the defined guidelines.

Present changes for approval with rollback plans in change approval meetings. Execute approved changes and document post-implementation outcomes." Incident Analysis-"Analyse nature of incidents to support root cause analysis and related service improvement plans. Contribute towards development of mitigation action to reduce repeat incidents, by identifying patterns of issues noted.

Rops. Knowledge on v. Center architecture. Work experience in raising the case with HP/Dell/Cisco. Working experience in remote management of hardware. Knowledge on any OS/VMware products is add on. Familiar with any enterprise backup software according to SOP documents Familiar with any enterprise SAN storage Preferred Skills: Advanced level technical skillset Experience with analyzing data and preparing reports Familiarity with ITIL Mandatory Skills: Storage Virtualization .
