We are currently seeking a hardworking and dependable Groundman to join our professional tree service team. The groundman plays a vital role on every job site, working closely with climbers and foremen to ensure safe and efficient operations. This position is physically demanding and requires focus, teamwork, and a strong work ethic.
A Groundsman is responsible for keeping the job site clean and organized, handling equipment, managing ropes, and assisting climbers in all aspects of tree removal, pruning, and care. Groundsmen are the foundation of the crew—ensuring climbers can work efficiently and customers’ properties are protected and respected.
This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to build a career in tree care. Groundmen learn the fundamentals of arboriculture, safe equipment use, and proper tree care practices. With experience and training, motivated employees can advance from Groundsman into Climber and eventually into leadership positions such as Crew Leader/Foreman.
Pay rate depends on tree care industry experience, with more pay available for CDL
