About the Olymel Berthierville Plant At the Olymel Berthierville facility, we offer a dynamic work environment focused on knowledge sharing, professional development, employee well-being, a family-oriented culture, and recognition of individual and team achievements.

We specialize in the slaughtering and processing of fresh poultry and operate with a workforce of more than 450 unionized and non-unionized employees. The plant is located in Berthierville, in the heart of the Lanaudière region, just 45 minutes from both Montreal and Trois-Rivières.

Your Role

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) will: Perform general mechanical maintenance and preventive maintenance activities. Carry out equipment dismantling, installation, and adjustment operations. Adjust industrial equipment during production operations. Perform cutting, welding, machining, and grinding work.

Ensure the proper operation and preventive maintenance of systems and equipment. Perform other related duties associated with the position.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications: Education Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS/DEP) in Industrial Mechanics, Electromechanics, or a related field. Experience Experience in industrial mechanics is considered an asset. Skills Strong teamwork skills. Availability, autonomy, and initiative.
