Director, Engineering Services

Archer is seeking a hands-on Engineering Leader to lead the team responsible for building the next generation of GRC-focused AI Operators within Archer Evolv. This is a player/coach role for an experienced engineering leader who is comfortable both managing a high-performing development team and remaining technically engaged in architecture, code quality, design decisions, and delivery. The successful candidate will lead a team of approximately 10–20 Agent Builder Engineers developing specialized, skill-based AI Operators on AWS AgentCore, leveraging AWS Bedrock and modern agentic AI technologies. The role reports to the Head of R&D.
