Laundry Plant Assist. Manager

Main Duties and Responsibilities: Consults with the Laundry plant and F & B Outlets daily, keeping track of linens distributed. Reports to the leadership teams including any concerns that will affect outlet’s ability to meet daily needs. Ensures that issues are resolved in an expeditious fashion. Sets-up and monitors daily linen inventories by floor to ensure requisitions are done effectively.

Establishes daily pars for outlets with managers. Setting up required standby linen for banquets. Reviews inventory results with Laundry team and F & B team. Ensuring that linen injection are agreed upon and then injected. Educates F & B Managers and staff on linen program. Which are linen pars, usages and abuses. This by periodically attending roll-calls.

Keeps laundry team updated on the outlet daily par requirements, linen changes if any. Monitors linen in warehouse stocks. Keeps team aware of available quantities. Reports on linen abuses by any outlet to team and assist in the resolution of same. Implements a rag program with linen rooms & outlets. Works daily with linen rooms on cleaning exchange for soiled.

Keeps logs in linen rooms for review. Follows company’s rules and regulations as stipulated in the Employee’s Handbook. Strives to work in harmony with both the laundry team and the F & B outlet managers. Works on new ways of accomplishing the job more effectively. The Company operates a twenty-four (24), hour, seven (7) days a week business.

Therefore, it may be necessary to change the accustomed shifts, at times, as the business demands. Required Qualifications Minimum 3-5 years of experience in commercial laundry, manufacturing, hospitality laundry operations, or a related production environment. At least 1-2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and operational reporting systems. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Why Join Atlantis?
