Pastry Cook

The Role The Pastry Cook reports to the Head Pastry Chef. The primary responsibilities of the Pastry Cook includes preparing, cooking, garnishing & presentation of desserts. The position also requires to check quality of pastry products as well as inspect supplies, equipment and work areas to ensure company standards.

Hub Discount Marketplace Job training and excellent internal growth opportunities Flexible Schedules The Requirements As a Pastry Cook we would love you to have: High school diploma or equivalent vocational training certificate Certification of culinary training or apprenticeship 3-5 years experience as a Pastry Cook at a 4/5 star hotel or restaurant Food handling certificate Flexible and long hours sometimes required Ability to stand during an entire shift Exerting up to 30 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move object Knowledge of Latin and Asian cuisine a plus The Restaurant SUSHISAMBA celebrates the culture and cuisine of Japan, Brazil and Peru.
