Batcher MUSH: Founded in 2015, we manufacture, distribute, and market health food products that meet the needs of modern-day consumers. Our first product line of ready-to-eat overnight oats pioneers a new category for the breakfast occasion, offering a healthy, satiating, and convenient alternative to traditional morning meals.

Role Description Batchers are responsible for the batching and execution of recipes in the production room, quality of products, and following all production and quality procedures. Batchers assist the Machine Operator in ensuring all filling of product is done in specification and compliance to production and quality standards.

Specific Responsibilities: Follow recipes: sort, weigh, prepare and mix ingredients with extreme accuracy Ensures all ingredients, product, supplies, tools and equipment are used, cleaned, and stored according to the standard operating procedures Track product lots and fill out production paperwork daily Work with maintenance to ensure all machinery is operating efficiently and well maintained, preventative maintenance and troubleshooting Perform the proper sanitation and cleaning of processing and production equipment Tactical Requirements: 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience in food manufacturing or culinary field Ability to read and follow recipes with accuracy Comfortable operating production machinery Ability to use a scale to weigh multiple ingredients Willing to learn and follow Good Manufacturing Processes (GMPs) and safety regulations Ability to multitask, prioritize and work in an extremely fast-paced environment Highly organized, methodical, disciplined, and detail-oriented Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, team-focused and with the ability to hold others accountable Physical and Work Related Requirements: Standing and walking for long periods of time Repetitive motion for long periods of time Bending and lifting up to 70 LB Ability to handle allergens including peanuts and treenuts
