About the Role

The Cheese UF Technician III plays a critical role in the production and quality assurance of cheese products within our durable goods manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for overseeing the cheese production process, ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. The technician will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and optimize production efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent. At least 3 years of experience in cheese production or a related field. Strong understanding of food safety regulations and quality assurance practices.

Preferred Qualifications

Associate's degree in Food Science, Dairy Science, or a related field. Experience with automated production systems and equipment. Certification in HACCP or other food safety programs.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control the cheese production process, ensuring adherence to established recipes and quality standards. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and production areas to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation protocols. Collaborate with quality assurance teams to perform product testing and analysis, documenting results and implementing corrective actions as needed.

Train and mentor junior technicians and staff on production techniques, safety practices, and equipment operation. Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance production efficiency and product quality. Skills: The required skills for this position include a strong attention to detail and the ability to follow complex production processes accurately.

Daily work will involve using analytical skills to assess product quality and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production. Preferred skills, such as experience with automated systems, will enhance the technician's ability to operate and maintain equipment efficiently.
