Our Dicky Birds Nursery and Preschool on Pelham Road is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join our dedicated team.

You will play an important role in caring for, supporting and inspiring our children, helping them learn, grow and thrive every day. What Will You Be Doing? Supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing through fun and engaging activities. Helping to create a safe, happy and stimulating environment where children feel secure and confident. Supporting playroom activities under the guidance of qualified practitioners. Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.

Following safeguarding procedures and maintaining high standards of care in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Helping to maintain a clean, welcoming and organised nursery environment. Working as part of a team to give every child the best possible start in life. What We’re Looking For A genuine passion for working with young children.

A caring, enthusiastic and positive approach. Good communication and teamwork skills. A willingness to learn, develop and take part in training. The ability to build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues. Previous experience working with children would be beneficial, but we welcome applications from people who are enthusiastic about starting a career in early years.
