CNA – Home Health & Hospice

We are looking for a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to provide personal care and simple procedures as an extension of therapy or nursing to the patient in their place of residence; to assist in providing a safe and clean environment, work cooperatively with patient and family and report observations, changes and problems to the supervisor.

STARTING AT $17.00 PER HOUR, OR MORE DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE!

Essential Functions

Provide hands on personal care according to the Aide Care Plan; provides simple procedures as an extension of therapy or nursing. Appropriately report changes in the patient’s condition in a timely manner. Complete accurate documentation in a timely manner. Follows infection prevention and control policies/standard precautions.

Promote positive, supportive, respectful communication to patient/family and other employees. Provide a clean, safe and comfortable environment which promotes respect for patient, privacy and property. Demonstrate commitment, personal growth and competency by participating in educational opportunities. Attends 12 hours of in-services per year.

Promote the agency mission to ensure safe and high quality of care. Job Qualifications: Active CNA certification required. Bilingual in Spanish required. Must have reliable transportation with a valid driver's license and current auto liability insurance.
