• Access to EAP and support services The Opportunity Chemist Warehouse Palmerston North is seeking a passionate Full-Time New Zealand Intern Pharmacist (35 to 40 hours per week) with a current NZ Intern APC to join our vibrant team as. In this dynamic role, you'll be at the forefront of delivering high-quality pharmacy services, ensuring the highest industry standards are met.

Job Responsibilities

Assisting with scripts in/and out and dispensing General dispensary administration Order, receive, unpack, and manage dispensary stock, including monitoring stock levels and expiry dates. Provide professional advice to patients and customers on medicines, minor ailments, and health-related enquiries within scope of practice.

Maintain accurate prescription records and patient information while ensuring compliance with privacy and regulatory requirements. Counting or pouring medicines under Pharmacist supervision Perform the necessary calculations for checking by the Pharmacist Skills Ability to undertake pre-registrant year immediately Ability to work well in a team and autonomously Dedicated work ethic Excellent customer service Eye for detail and accuracy Retail Pharmacy experience advantageous Strong communication skills Willingness to learn and grow with the business Knowledge of Pharmacy products Certifications Ability to undertake pre-registrant year immediately Physical Requirements Repeat the same movements Stand for long periods of time Use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls Why Work With Us?
