Medical Malpractice Underwriter

Position Purpose: Provides administration/service to prospective and current customer base by supporting the Insurance Operations team. This includes the processing and distribution of new and renewal business, cancellation notices, and policy change requests. Routine contact with both internal and external agents, as well as prospective and current clients is required.

Accountable for underwriting, expansion and profitability for respective lines of business to include reviewing, analyzing, accepting and declining risk within levels of underwriting authority and to achieve planned goals.
