Job Function: As a member of our professional staff, you will be responsible for the direct care of assigned patients, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care to deliver optimal patient outcomes.

Your responsibilities

Direct Patient Care: Provide high-quality, compassionate care, utilizing evidence-based practices. Team Collaboration: Work with a dedicated team to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes. Nursing Process: Use the nursing process of assessment, goal-setting, intervention planning, and continuous evaluation to ensure the highest standards of care.

Compliance & Quality: Deliver care in alignment with hospital policies and procedures, regulatory requirements, and established standards of care. Support Kansas Heart Hospital's Goals: Help us achieve the mission and goals of Kansas Heart Hospital through excellence in patient care and teamwork. Job Qualifications: Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

License: Registered nurse with current Kansas licensure. Previous Experience: 1 year in an acute care setting (recent) preferred. Key experience/Accomplishments: Demonstrates competence in clinical practice. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) affirmation desired. Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrates and promotes confidence, credibility, adaptability, initiative, problem solving, and teamwork.

Requires strong communication skills. Job Duties and Responsibilities Admits adults with various cardiovascular diagnoses. Assists patients that require invasive tests, procedures, and therapies such as cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, balloon and stent or surgery.
