Job Title: Press Machine Operator Location: Jamestown, NY Job Summary: The Press Machine Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining punch presses, ensuring precision and quality in manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities
Operate punch presses to manufacture components according to specifications. Monitor production run, adjusting equipment as needed to maintain quality standards. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery. Inspect finished products for defects and ensure compliance with quality control measures. Keep accurate records of production output and machinery performance.
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and timelines. Adhere to all safety regulations and company protocols while operating equipment. Essential Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with punch press operations. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
Good time management skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Desired Experience: Previous experience operating punch presses or similar manufacturing machinery is highly preferred. Experience in a manufacturing environment with an understanding of safety procedures. Familiarity with quality control processes and procedures.
