Posting Title: Neurologist Industry: Hospital Salary: ₹450,000 to ₹500,000 LPM Work Experience: 1+ year Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including detailed medical history reviews, neurological examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic tests such as MRI, CT, EEG, and EMG.
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic neurological conditions affecting the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans, including pharmacological interventions, lifestyle modifications, and referrals to specialized therapies.
  • Perform and interpret advanced neurodiagnostic procedures as required.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care and ensure continuity across inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Stay current with emerging trends, research, and clinical guidelines in neurology through continuous professional development.
  • Participate in hospital-wide quality improvement initiatives and contribute to clinical audits and documentation standards.
  • Provide consultative support to other departments and assist in emergency neurological assessments when needed.
  • Mentor and guide junior medical staff, residents, and medical students in clinical practice and patient management. Requirements:
  • MBBS degree with postgraduate qualification in Neurology (DNB, MD, or equivalent) from a recognized medical institution.
  • Valid registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) and any required state medical council licenses.
  • Minimum of 1 year of postgraduate clinical experience in a hospital or specialty clinic setting.
  • Proven expertise in diagnosing and treating disorders of the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves.
  • Strong proficiency in interpreting neuroimaging (MRI, CT), EEG, and EMG reports.
  • Excellent clinical decision-making, patient communication, and diagnostic reasoning skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments, including emergency neurological cases.
  • Commitment to ethical medical practice, patient confidentiality, and continuous learning.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and hospital information management platforms.
