Senior Engineer, Process Control

Your future role on our team BBA is seeking a senior process control engineer to join our new Thunder Bay office or existing Sudbury office to support our continued growth in Central Canada. You’ll play a lead role in all phases of engineering projects, from front-end studies to field implementation, with a focus on detailed engineering.

As a senior member of the Automation, Instrumentation and Control System engineering team in Central Canada, you’ll be responsible for ensuring technical quality, identifying new business opportunities and fostering team development. Lead process control engineering and quality for major mining and energy projects Manage instrumentation, automation and control scopes, including budgets, schedules and project delivery Lead engineering teams in the design, integration, programming and commissioning of PLC, HMI, DCS and communication systems Build strong client relationships and support business development, proposals and account growth Mentor junior and intermediate engineers while ensuring development of high-quality engineering work packages Contribute to BBA initiatives and foster a positive, collaborative culture in the Thunder Bay office
