Job description

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients across all age groups.
  • Provide expert clinical care in NICU and PICU settings, managing critically ill newborns and children with complex medical conditions.
  • Deliver high-quality outpatient services in the OPD, including routine check-ups, vaccinations, developmental screenings, and management of chronic conditions such as asthma, diabetes, and ADHD.
  • Perform diagnostic procedures, interpret lab results, imaging studies, and other clinical data to guide treatment decisions.
  • Collaborate with nurses, specialists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate holistic patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulatory and institutional standards.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and emergency response as required by the department.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the organization. Requirements
  • MBBS degree with a postgraduate qualification in Pediatrics (MD/DPB) from a recognized medical institution.
  • Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or equivalent regulatory body.
  • Minimum of 1 year of postgraduate clinical experience in pediatric care, with hands-on exposure to NICU and PICU settings.
  • Proven experience in outpatient department (OPD) management and patient follow-up.
  • Strong clinical skills in neonatal and pediatric emergency care, including resuscitation and advanced life support.
  • Proficiency in pediatric diagnostics, pharmacology, and preventive healthcare protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust with children and their families.
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments while maintaining attention to detail and compassion.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and digital health tools.
  • Willingness to participate in on-call duties and shift rotations as per departmental needs.
