Architect Intern - Summer 2027 (Grand Rapids)

Excellent opportunity with a nationally recognized forensic firm in our Grand Rapids office. We are looking for a motivated, committed, and enthusiastic candidate interested in working with experienced architects and engineers to solve challenging technical problems.

Responsibilities

Forensic investigation and analysis Laboratory and field testing CAD drawings and presentations Computer modeling and analysis Construction observation Requirements Bachelor's degree (or near completion) in Architectural Studies or Architectural Engineering Intend to pursue master's degree in Architectural Studies or Architectural Engineering Excellent writing, communication, and leadership skills Strong technical and problem solving skills Ability to travel and perform field work including working at heights Interest in pursuing profession in forensic architecture and building science This position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship Benefits Competitive pay including overtime at time and a half Learn from experienced architects and engineers Internship positions can lead to full-time employment after graduation
