Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative
Job description
Saint Francis Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Client Service Representative with a background in veterinary medicine to become the next member of our incredible team. As the face of the hospital, our CSRs greet visitors with warmth and compassion, fostering trust in the veterinary team and ensuring a welcoming, well-coordinated client experience.
In this role, you will:
- Independently manage appointment scheduling and maintain an efficient daily workflow
- Serve as a key liaison between clients and the medical team, ensuring clear and timely communication
- Deliver empathetic, high-level customer service across a multi-line phone system and in-person interactions
- Process financial transactions accurately and efficiently
- Respond to client inquiries with confidence, providing clear and informed guidance on services and patient care
- Balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining organization and attention to detail
This position is ideal for candidates with a strong background in veterinary medicine who is a confident self-starter, highly organized, and thrive in fast-paced environments. The right individual will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of balancing multiple priorities while maintaining a polished, professional client experience.
Schedule: This is a full-time position, offering a flexible schedule either 4 x 10s or 5 x 8s and availability needed Monday through Friday. NO WEEKENDS.

Minimum qualifications and skill set:
3+ years of experience in a customer service, reception, or client-facing role
Previous veterinary receptionist or healthcare-related front-desk experience preferred

Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Strong client service and professional communication skills

Experience acting as a liaison between clients and the medical team, with confidence discussing treatment plans and medical information

Comfortable managing phones, clients, and administrative tasks simultaneously
