Sales Internship [Summer 2027]

Our Sales Team is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Sales Intern eager to gain hands-on experience and learn the full sales cycle. This 12+ week internship provides mentorship from our top sales reps and leadership team and comprehensive training across both Sales and Operations departments. Interns will have the opportunity to enhance their skills in customer-facing sales, advancing to activities such as customer calls, sales presentations, and sales strategy development.

JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: Prospecting & Lead Generation: Conduct cold calling, send emails, and leverage LinkedIn to set up meetings. Customer Relationship Building: Source and nurture new customer relationships. TMS Management: Build and manage loads within the Transportation Management System (TMS). Sales Presentations: Participate in sales presentations alongside your Sales Coach.

Dashboard Creation & Sales Shadowing: Assist in creating sales dashboards and shadow sales leadership. Operational Support: Help with scheduling, tracking, and follow-up on active shipments to ensure customer satisfaction. Collaboration with Operations: Work with the Operations Team on load assignments and updates to ensure timely service delivery.

Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records and reports on account activities and shipment statuses.

COMPENSATION

& PERKS: Compensation: This is an hourly-paid role, contingent upon experience. Training: Comprehensive onboarding and continuous professional development. Extras: On-site gym, golf simulator, fully stocked beverage cooler, espresso machine, and team events.

QUALIFICATIONS

A successful candidate must possess the following traits/skills: Junior or Senior standing, pursuing a degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business (preferred) Prior sales internship experience (preferred) Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment Alignment with Ally’s #HUSTLE values Strong written and verbal communication skills Must be comfortable in a fast-paced and high-energy environment ADDITIONAL INFO: This is NOT a remote position.
