Licensed Practical Nurse

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) responsibilities: Generally responsible in daily logistics such as carrying out orders for medication orders, laboratory and other medical orders, communicating with MD/Family as well as coordinating with other health care services. Supervises and oversees the medication aides and caregivers to ensure quality services are rendered to residents with utmost care and compassion.

Makes daily rounds on the unit in order to observe and evaluate physical and emotional status of nursing residents Provides comprehensive oversight to unit staff to assure nursing care is proved according to physician's order's. Analyzes and evaluates nursing staff needs as well as determines staffing requirements Assesses the needs of each resident, and implements the Resident Interim Care Plan Provides daily input to the Unit Manager for development of the resident care plan Performs generalized Charge Nurse duties Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) skills and requirements: Valid LPN license Excellent bedside manner and communication skills Working knowledge of health care laws and regulations
